Barton Creek North Management
Dear Barton Creek North (BCN) Homeowners:
Last summer, the Barton Creek North Board initiated a project to bid our property management services. This decision was based on both a need to test the marketplace for such services (our current contract was signed in 2006) and to address new state legislation requiring updated organizational policies regarding competitive bidding.
As a result of our multi-month review, the Board has approved a change in property management service providers. Effective March 1, 2023, FirstService Residential (FSR) will replace Realmanage as our property management company. Realmanage remains under contract as our property management company until March 1. However, you will begin to receive letters and emails which introduce you to FSR and provide instructions on how to transition your accounts, payments, and other business with our association.
The transition period will undoubtedly be a challenge and we ask for your patience and diligence in moving your information to FSR. With new property management staff, there will be a learning curve to navigate. The most visible changes will likely be as follows:
- The FSR office is located at 5316 West US-290, Suite 100. The Board continues to meet and discuss our communities’ operations with Anne-Marie Cox.
- All pending (and new) Master Architectural Control Committee (MACC) submissions will be coordinated via FSR.
The Board believes these changes will provide better value to our community, both in terms of reduced cost and updated technology for organizing, tracking, and communicating our community activities.
